District Employment Exchange
The employment Service is in the concurrent list of the constitute of India, the policies ,standards and procedures are entrusted to the government to control day to day functioning of the employment exchange (Compulsory notification of vacancies) Act.a959 and came to force w.e.f. 1st May/1960.the duties of and functions of officers at different levels instructions and registrations of local people of the state Govt.schemes and timely submissions of different returns guideline on vocational guidance recruitment of vacancies, reservation of vacancies for Sc,ST,OBC,MOBC & P/H.
Objective purpose of the public authority
The main objective /purpose of District Employment Exchange,Tezpur is normally constitute basic unit of implementing and coordinating all programmers of unemployment advise employment market information. Minimum age for registration at the Employment Exchange should be Completion of 14 years. However there is no maximum limit for the purpose. List of original documents (to be shown)at the time of applying for the registration.

6.Cast certificate in case of reserved category.
7. 3 copies of self attested passport size photograph latest.
Date of Renewal
The Renewal of 3 (three) years from the date of all registration all types of applicant during the office working day.
The Unemployment certificate
This office is issued Un-employment Certificate for registration applicants only .The un-employment certificate is valid for one year from the date of issue.
Local people Certificate
This office issue of Certificate of Employment of people of Assam under Assam industries (sale Tax concession) Act.1995.
As per CNV Act 1959 every public/ private sector establishment should notify the vacancy /vacancies to the local Employment Exchange when vacancy/ vacancies is arise.
