Celebration of 400 Years of Birth Anniversary of Lachit Borphukan in Sonitpur District

On 12 August 2024, Sonitpur District Administration organized a #TirangaYatra in connection with the #HarGharTiranga program. The #TirangaYatra was flagged off by District Commissioner Shri Deba kumar Mishra, ACS from the premise of Darrang College, Tezpur. It was a sight to behold as NCC cadets, NSS members, students from various colleges and schools of Tezpur displayed their respect for the #Tiranga during the yatra. Additional District Commissioner Shri Raj Boruah, District Sports Officer Shri Pranjal Dehingia, Inspector of Schools Shri Prabhat Das along with key officials from various departments of the District Administration and local citizens took part in the program.
